For the first time since Anime Express started, Steve Bennett was not in attendance. However, Anime Sushi was there to provide alot of extras to enhance the cosplay contest.

Yuna from Final Fantasy X made a very quick walk on and off stage as the competition commences.

Shirahime from Angelic Layer entered the battlefield.

Faust from Guilty Gear X took on Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter.

Then Sesshoumaru from Inu Yasha joined the fray.

Silly Hat wearers Wesker, Shinji, Rei, Kaji and Fuyutsuki from Neon Genesis Evangelion are waiting for a very special guest of honor.

Gendo shows up and is then given the beating that he so richly deserves.

In one of the cutest scenes of the evening, the Prof's daughters played the two small persocons from Chobits, Sumomo and Kotoko, as their proud mom looked on from the sidelines (upper right).

As they were walking on, the younger girl tripped and her sister stopped and sat down next to her to hug and console her.

Next up in the kawaii katagory is little Card Captor Sakura in her neko-chan outfit.

Rajin joined the pajama party with Anthy and Utena.

Off to the side, Haruka is in charge of the party snacks.
