For my first AWA convention, we
drove up in a caravan Thursday night, leaving Jacksonville about 7 PM.
Because of the rain and losing (and finding) our companions, we didn't
arrive until early in the morning, like 2 or 3 AM. We didn't actually get to
sleep until 4.
As such, we didn't wake up
until about 10 the next morning. Finally able to appreciate the view, above
is looking out from our hotel room door. To the right is the stair leading
up to the main convention arena.
Below are the first of the
cosplayers to appear Friday morning. |
