JACON 8 Cosplay 2007

Opening ceremonies for JACON have got to be one of the most laid back and casual that I've ever seen. The staff are sitting on the edge of the stage and the special guests are seated to the right (off camera to the right above) as they are introduced.

Joey Snackpants (Top left) hosts the introductions. First up is Phil LaMarr (Top right), voice actor from a host of animated features including TMNT, Afro-Samurai, Futurama, Drawn Together, plus many more.

Below, Billy West is introduced. Billy West has voiced characters from some of my most favorite series, including both Ren and Stimpy as well as Phillip J. Fry from Futurama.

Continuing with the guest list, we are introduced to special guest, Ellen Muth, actress from shows like "Dead Like Me" and "Dolores Claiborne". Below, we have George Lowe (left) from Space Ghost Coast to Coast and other wonderful roles from the Cartoon Network. To the right is Brett Weaver, voice actor in many anime shows like Macross and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

After introducing the staff and guests, artwork awards were presented.
